Structural Site Inspections

Advanced Building Engineers conducts structural site inspections on a range of commercial and residential projects. We work with builders, designers, architects and owners ensuring a site is ready for work to begin and that a build is progressing to the plans. If we find any problems, we don’t just report them we offer solutions and work with our clients to ensure any problems are rectified.

An Advanced Building Engineers structural site inspection can assist with your initial planning as we provide advice on potential challenges such as sloping ground or proximity to other buildings or structures.

Structural site inspections can include:

• Retaining walls
• Structural cracks in walls, floor, roof, suspended slab
• Patio structures
• Any structural inspection required by Council

As well as site inspections on existing structures, Advanced Building Engineers inspect new commercial and residential structures. Following is the three step process undertaken for structural site inspections on new builds.

Step 1 – Ground Slab & Footing inspection
Step 2 – Suspended Slab inspection (two storey)
Step 3 – Progress inspection as required by client
